THIS IS IT - #FKU, FRIENDS, & FAMILY - OUR LAST CHANCE TO LET SC LEGISLATORS HEAR OUR VOICES ON FENTANYL TRAFFICKING AND DRUG INDUCED HOMIDICE BILLS!
This Tuesday, May 2 from 10 am - 1 pm we are making one last push to get the Fentanyl Trafficking and Drug Induced Homicide Bills passed. We have obtained a permit and will be on the steps of the SC Statehouse again to make an impassioned plea to lawmakers to get these bills moving! FENTANYL KILLS - BUT SO DOES COMPLACENCY - WE NEED SC LEGISLATORS TO ACT NOW!
We will have a podium and microphone to help get our message across and news media from Charlotte and Rock Hill have been contacted about the event. If you live in other parts of the state, please let media know we need them there as well. We are bringing urns, articles of clothing, shoes, pictures in frames, etc., of our loved ones to place on the steps for them to see. We will also have posters and a banner displayed. We want to make a dramatic and powerful statement. If you would rather just be present that is greatly appreciated as well - WE JUST NEED AS MANY SUPPORTERS THERE AS POSSIBLE!
